About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Digital Engineer to join our Digital Team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with an interest in technology, software, and IT systems who is looking to develop a career within the dental technology sector.

The successful candidate will support the installation, maintenance, servicing, training, and ongoing support of digital imaging and CAD/CAM systems within dental practices. Working alongside experienced engineers and sales specialists, you will receive comprehensive training from leading manufacturers in the UK and overseas, as well as from our in-house team.

This is a field-based role involving regular travel throughout the North of England and the Midlands, with occasional overnight stays.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the installation and configuration of CBCT, OPG, Plate scanners and Cad/Cam Equipment and software.
  • Service, maintain, and repair digital imaging and CAD/CAM equipment.
  • Provide remote technical support for hardware and software systems.
  • Conduct site surveys and assist with project planning.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and provide support to customers.
  • Deliver user training and guidance to dental practice teams.
  • Assist with software updates, networking requirements, and system optimisation.
  • Maintain accurate installation, service, and support records.
  • Build positive relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with company procedures and health and safety requirements.

Skills and Experience

Essential

  • Strong interest in technology, software, and IT systems.
  • Good general IT skills, including Windows operating systems and basic networking fundamentals.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Willingness to travel and stay away from home when required.

Desirable

  • Experience in an IT, technical support, engineering, electronics, or field service role.
  • Experience installing and supporting hardware or software solutions.
  • Understanding of digital imaging technologies.
  • Knowledge of dental software or dental equipment (not essential as full training will be provided).
