Sales Lead | SaaS | Manchester | £45k base + £80k OTE

Our client is an innovative technology business that provides a SaaS platform designed to help organisations attract, engage, and hire talent more effectively. Their solution is modern, data-driven, and used by companies looking to streamline and enhance their recruitment and hiring workflows. They’re growing quickly and are now looking to bring in a Sales Lead to help scale their commercial function.

The Opportunity

This is a brand-new role and a pivotal hire for the business. As the Sales Lead, you’ll be responsible for driving revenue growth, leading from the front, mentoring a small but growing sales team, and shaping the overall sales strategy.

It’s a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to take ownership, bring structure to a sales function, and have a genuine impact on the company’s growth trajectory.

Role Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and mentor the sales team while maintaining a hands-on approach
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to closing
  • Personally drive new business activity and close key strategic deals
  • Build and refine sales processes, playbooks, and forecasting models
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Customer Success, and Product to align commercial efforts
  • Use data and performance metrics to optimise team efficiency
  • Represent the business in demos, client meetings, and industry events
Candidate Requirements

Essential:

  • Strong experience selling a SaaS solution (must-have)
  • Background in leading, mentoring, or developing sales professionals
  • Proven track record of consistently hitting targets
  • Confident running a full sales cycle with a consultative approach
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, scale-up environment
  • Proactive, commercially minded, and able to lead by example
