Account Executive (Industrial software/ SaaS) - €180-220K OTE
We're recruiting an Account Executive for a well-established Industrial Software / SaaS (OEE) supplier, selling into the manufacturing industries such as Food & Beverage, Automotive, Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), Pharmaceutical, etc.
Package:
- €75,000 to €100,000 Salary
- €100,000 Performance Bonus
- €8,000 Car Allowance

- Remote (Homebased - United Kingdom/ Germany/ Netherlands)
- Client Visits (Italy/ France)
Job Description
The Account Executive is responsible for developing new business prospects and managing the entire sales process which includes lead generation, prospect evaluation, negotiation, and closing. This is a full time and remote position. It requires travelling up to 30% to 40% of the time as required by business needs.
This position is handling customers in Italy or France and candidates can reside in Germany, the Netherlands, or the United Kingdom.
Responsibilities:
- Manage full sales cycle from initial lead generation, opportunity, to negotiation and closure.
- Meet with potential sales clients to determine business needs.
- Stay current on industry relevant trends, especially industrial, hi-tech, automotive and CPG industry.
- Research, recommend prospects for new business opportunities, develop those opportunities, and expand customer relationships.
- Generate new business sales within the manufacturing sector.
- Build and maintain relationships with prospects and clients.
- Develop professional networks within the business sector.
- Stay current with industry specific trends, and competitors.
- Identify improvements and recommend sales strategies to increase sales.
- Collect, analyse information and prepare data and sales reports.
- Attend training workshops, meetings, trade shows and events to increase professional learning and development.
Qualifications / Experience:
- Bilingual in English and either Italian or French
- Willing to travel to client sites 30% to 40% of the time. This will require travel to Italy or France
- Qualification in Engineering, Sales, Operations, or Business Management
- Experience in External Sales in the Industrial or Automation Manufacturing industries
- Experience in Business-to-Business Sales
- Excellent track-record in meeting or exceeding targets (preferably in complex sales cycles)
- Ability to negotiate
- Ability to meet with prospects and clients, engaging with them to identify business needs
- Ability to focus on results and clients' needs
- Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and applicable CRM
