Business Transformation Consultant – MOD Role Overview

Our client is seeking a Business Transformation Consultant to support a strategy and transformation programme within the MOD environment. The consultant will contribute to the design and implementation of operating models, supporting the delivery of transformation initiatives across a complex defence organisation.

The role requires a proactive individual who is comfortable engaging stakeholders across the organisation and producing high-quality outputs to support programme delivery.

Business Transformation Consultant – MOD Key Responsibilities

• Support the design and implementation of operating models as part of wider transformation initiatives.
• Engage with stakeholders across the organisation to gather insights, align priorities, and support delivery activities.
• Produce high-quality PowerPoint presentations, reports, and written deliverables for senior stakeholders.
• Support strategy development and transformation planning activities within the programme.
• Contribute to the coordination and delivery of transformation workstreams.
• Conduct analysis and develop documentation to support programme objectives and decision-making.

Business Transformation Consultant – MOD Skills & Experience

• Experience as a junior to mid-level consultant within business transformation, strategy, or organisational change.
• Experience supporting operating model design and implementation initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Proven ability to produce high-quality presentations and written outputs.
• Highly proactive and organised, with the ability to work effectively across multiple teams.

Desirable:

• Knowledge of the UK Ministry of Defence (MOD)
• Familiarity with information security management.
• Awareness of Microsoft information security or related capabilities.

Additional Information

• Location: Hybrid working with approximately 2 days per week onsite in Corsham.
• Security Clearance: Candidates must hold active UK SC Clearance or higher.
• Start Date: Immediate start required.
• Contract Duration: Until end of June, with potential extension.
