Cisco Network Engineer

Contract Opportunity – Cisco Network Consultant (CCNP) | Outside IR35 | Remote

A Cisco Partner is looking for a CCNP-level Network Consultant to join the team ASAP on a remote contract with very occasional travel to Wiltshire/Oxford.

This is an initial 2-month engagement (Outside IR35) with strong potential for extension. The role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and can confidently manage network support and troubleshooting across Cisco enterprise environments.

Network Consultant (CCNP) Role Overview:

• Position: Network Consultant (CCNP Level)
• Start Date: ASAP
• Location: Remote with occasional travel to Wiltshire / Oxford
• Contract Length: Initial 2 months (extension likely)
• Rate: Depending on experience (Outside IR35)

Network Consultant (CCNP) Key Skills & Experience:

• Cisco CCNP-level networking expertise
• Hands-on experience with Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela)
• Experience with Cisco Software-Defined Access (SDA)
• Familiarity with Cisco DNA Center / Catalyst Center for monitoring and management
• Comfortable working through high ticket volumes in a support environment
• Structured communicator – able to keep ticket updates and customer expectations clear
• Self-starter – able to progress work independently and proactively
• Calm and methodical when working under pressure
