🚨 Azure Infrastructure Architect – Outside IR35 Contract 🚨

We’re currently seeking an experienced Azure Infrastructure Architect to support a major cloud transformation programme focused on enterprise-scale Azure platform and infrastructure delivery.

• 📅 Immediate Start
• ⏳ 3–6 Month Contract
• 💼 Outside IR35

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver enterprise Azure Landing Zones aligned to Microsoft CAF and Well-Architected Framework

• Architect and implement core Azure infrastructure services across networking, identity, governance, and security

• Define subscription strategy, management groups, RBAC, policies, and resource governance

• Design hybrid connectivity solutions including ExpressRoute, VPN Gateway, VNET peering, DNS, and firewall architecture

• Lead infrastructure automation using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates

• Implement Azure monitoring, logging, and operational controls using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Sentinel

• Work closely with engineering, security, and programme stakeholders to drive best practice cloud adoption

• Support migration and modernisation initiatives into Azure

Technical Skills Required:

✔ Strong Azure infrastructure architecture experience in enterprise environments

✔ Proven Azure Landing Zone implementation experience

✔ Deep understanding of:

• Azure Networking
• Azure Firewall
• NSGs / UDRs
• Private Endpoints
• Entra ID (Azure AD)
• RBAC / PIM
• Azure Policy
• Defender for Cloud
• Azure Monitor / Log Analytics
• Backup & DR solutions

✔ Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform preferred)

✔ Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation

✔ Strong understanding of cloud security, governance, and operational best practices

✔ Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

✔ Comfortable working directly with senior stakeholders, architects, engineering teams, and third-party vendors

✔ Previous experience working within a consultancy, MSP, or IT services environment would be highly beneficial

Preferred Certifications:

• Azure Solutions Architect Expert

• Azure Network Engineer Associate

• Terraform certification beneficial
