We’re supporting a specialist consultancy delivering secure, high-impact solutions across the UK National Security space. They’re looking for an eDV Cleared Cloud Engineer to help build and automate highly scalable, cloud-native platforms in secure environments.
This is a great opportunity to work on mission-critical systems, leveraging modern DevOps, automation, and open-source technologies.
Cloud Engineer – Key Responsibilities
- Automating infrastructure and application deployments in secure AWS environments
- Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for scalable platforms
- Working within Agile/Scrum teams across engineering, DevOps, and security
- Managing and optimising containerised environments (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Implementing security best practices across cloud and platform layers
- Driving continuous improvement across tooling, automation, and delivery
Cloud Engineer – Key Skills Required
- Must hold live and active Enhanced DV clearance (DV considered)
- Strong experience working within secure defence environments
- Strong experience with AWS (CloudFormation, ECS)
- Hands-on with Docker & Kubernetes
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines (DroneCI or similar)
- Strong Linux administration & scripting (Bash)
- Experience with Ansible for configuration management
- Good understanding of cloud & platform security best practices
- Experience with Git (GitHub / GitLab)
Nice to have:
- AWS Developer tools (CodePipeline, CodeBuild)
- Experience in highly secure / NatSec environments
- Exposure to advanced Kubernetes security and networking
