We’re looking for an experienced Lead AWS Cloud Architect to join a major cloud migration and modernisation programme within a highly regulated environment.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll own the end-to-end cloud architecture strategy across AWS infrastructure, security, networking, identity, migration planning, and EUC modernisation.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading cloud architecture and technical governance across multiple workstreams

• Designing secure AWS Landing Zones and governance controls

• Driving cloud migration strategy, implementation, and cutover planning

• Overseeing Amazon WorkSpaces / Citrix modernisation

• Ensuring security, resilience, compliance, and operational readiness

• Working closely with senior stakeholders, SMEs, and delivery teams

Key skills required:

✅ AWS Architecture (multi-account environments)

✅ AWS Organisations / Control Tower

✅ IAM, VPC, KMS, GuardDuty, CloudTrail

✅ Terraform and/or CloudFormation

✅ Amazon WorkSpaces / AppStream / FSLogix

✅ AWS MGN / CloudEndure

✅ Entra ID / Conditional Access / MFA

✅ Strong governance and stakeholder management experience

Ideal background:

• 10+ years in cloud architecture

• Strong AWS experience within regulated or enterprise environments

• Experience delivering large-scale migration and transformation programmes

• AWS certifications highly desirable
