Oracle Fixed Asset Functional Consultant

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a high-profile global implementation, shaping and optimising core financial processes across multiple regions. You'll play a key role in the end-to-end design, configuration, and delivery of the Oracle Fusion Fixed Assets module, working closely with both business stakeholders and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather and analyse business requirements for Fixed Assets and translate them into detailed functional specifications.
  • Configure and maintain the Oracle Fusion Fixed Assets module — including asset categories, depreciation methods, mass additions, retirements, and reporting setups.
  • Support integration with other key Oracle modules such as Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL), and Projects (PPM).
  • Conduct and support system testing, UAT, and manage deployment activities into production.
  • Provide post go-live support, including issue resolution, troubleshooting, and enhancement delivery.
  • Collaborate with developers on data conversions, interfaces, and custom reports, maintaining an understanding of relevant tables and APIs.
  • Write and execute SQL queries to validate or extract data for analysis and testing purposes.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation — functional designs, process flows, user guides, and training material.
  • Recommend process improvements and system enhancements based on best practice and business needs.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years' experience as an Oracle Fusion Fixed Assets Functional Consultant.
  • Proven hands-on experience configuring and supporting Oracle Fusion Fixed Assets.
  • Strong understanding of Oracle Fusion Financials and integration points across modules.
  • Ability to perform basic technical activities such as SQL querying and data structure analysis.
  • Demonstrated experience in producing functional specifications and test scenarios.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across business and technical teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.

This role is initially a 6-month FTC with salary ranging from £50k-£110k. This role also requires immediate start or up to 2 weeks notice.
