The client is a rapidly growing fintech building a next-generation account-to-account payments network. By combining real-time bank payments with financial and identity data, they help businesses onboard users, accept payments, and make payouts quickly and securely at scale.

Their products are used by companies across e-commerce, gaming, and financial services to create seamless payment experiences. Operating across multiple European markets, they're at an exciting stage of growth and expanding their teams across several international offices.

As a Fraud Product Manager, you’ll define and execute the strategy for fraud prevention and risk management across the company’s payments and credit products. You’ll work at the intersection of technology, data, and security, collaborating with internal teams and external partners to build tools and processes that detect, prevent, and respond to fraud efficiently while maintaining a seamless user experience.

Responsibilities of the Product Manager include:

  • Define the product vision and roadmap for fraud detection and prevention tools across payments and credit offerings.
  • Partner with internal teams and external vendors to design integrations for real-time fraud scoring, identity verification, and monitoring systems.
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering and Design to build seamless, reliable, and scalable anti-fraud solutions.
  • Develop strategies to reduce fraud losses, false positives, and operational overhead while maintaining regulatory compliance.
  • Work alongside Risk, Compliance, and Credit teams to ensure fraud controls are embedded into the product lifecycle.
  • Monitor and analyze fraud patterns, key metrics, and incident reports to continuously improve detection and prevention strategies.
  • Conduct user research and collaborate with business stakeholders to prioritize features and improvements.
  • Own sprint planning and backlog management for dedicated fraud-related engineering initiatives.

Requirements of the Product Manager include:

  • 4+ years of product management experience, ideally in fintech, payments or financial services with a focus on risk or fraud.
  • Strong understanding of fraud prevention, identity verification, AML/KYC processes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience working with real-time detection systems, scoring models, and third-party risk tools.
  • Technically fluent, comfortable working with APIs, data pipelines, and integrations.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaborator, able to align technical, commercial, and regulatory stakeholders.
  • Data-driven, analytical, and experimental, using metrics and insights to guide product decisions.
  • Strong communicator, capable of translating complex fraud and risk concepts into actionable plans
