Rust Engineer (United Kingdom)

Job Title: Rust Engineer

Job Type: Permanent or Contract

Location: Fully Remote (UK time-zone)

Salary: Up to £120k or £500/day (Outside IR35)

Rust Engineer - Responsibilities:

• Prototyping & developing manufacturing software on web and mobile applications
• Architecting software infrastructure across cloud services, ensuring scalability and reliability
• Implementing software solutions using a variety of languages, optimizing for real-time manufacturing processes
• Cloud & DevOps for infrastructure automation and CI/CD
• AI & Automation: Integrating AI-driven insights for workflow automation.
• Collaborate with implementation teams on the deployment and integration of the software on factory floors in the UK and internationally.

Rust Engineer - Required Experience:

• 5-10 years' experience with Rust as a programming language
• Experience working in the construction or manufacturing industry
• Experience working in fast-paced environments such as Fintech/Trading/Investment Banking
• Mathematical background (Computer Science, Physics or Mathematics degrees preferred)
• Excellent communication skills
