Job Title: SC Cleared Infrastructure Engineer
Job Type: Contract
Location: Nottingham (5 days a week on-site)
Day Rate: £300/day (INSIDE IR35)
Contract Length: 12 months
SC Cleared Infrastructure Engineer - Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee core on-premises infrastructure and services in line with industry best practices, KPIs, and the full product lifecycle.
- Provide specialist technical support across BAU and project work, ensuring delivery of functional and non-functional requirements and continual service improvement.
- Provide 1st–3rd line BAU support, working with internal teams and third-party vendors to maintain, support, and continuously improve live products and services
- Contribute to overall service management, including workforce planning, budgeting, technology roadmaps, capacity planning, and project delivery
- Manage and respond to incidents and problems, ensuring resolution within agreed SLAs and consistent service capability
SC Cleared Infrastructure Engineer - Required Experience
- Active SC Clearance
- Microsoft Windows Server and Windows 10/11
- VMware vSphere / Horizon
- Active Directory, Group Policy
- Solid understanding of ITIL-based service management and operations, including request fulfilment, incident, problem, change management, and service transition.
- Networking fundamentals (VLANs, VPNs, ACLs, TCP/IP) - nice to have
