🚨 Contract Opportunity: Senior Data Engineer (Security Cleared – Informatica IICS Focus) 🚨
We’re supporting a leading consultancy delivering high-impact work for a major financial services client, and we’re looking for a Security Cleared Senior Data Engineer with strong Informatica IICS expertise to join on an initial 6-month contract.
📍 Location: Hybrid – 2 days per week onsite in Central London
📅 Duration: 6 months (with potential extension)
🏢 Engagement: Consultancy assignment (Financial Services client)
🔧 The Role
This role is focused on designing and delivering modern, cloud-native data solutions using Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) within an Azure-based platform. You’ll take ownership of pipelines end-to-end, working in a secure, regulated environment.
✅ Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and optimise Informatica IICS data pipelines in a cloud environment
- Take hands-on ownership of pipeline development, deployment, and maintenance
- Implement modern Informatica cloud patterns aligned to best practice
- Deliver robust, scalable ETL solutions supporting critical business functions
- Collaborate with architects, analysts, and stakeholders across the programme
- Ensure high standards of data quality, governance, and security
🧠 Key Skills & Experience (Essential)
- Active security clearance
- Recent, in-depth experience with Informatica IICS
- Strong experience working with Azure-based data platforms
- Proven experience implementing modern cloud-based Informatica patterns
- Demonstrated hands-on ownership of Informatica pipelines (build → deploy → support)
- Strong, recent hands-on ETL design experience in enterprise environments
- Solid SQL and data modelling knowledge
⭐ Desirable
- Experience in financial services or regulated environments
- Familiarity with Azure data services (e.g. Data Factory, Data Lake, Synapse)
- Exposure to DataOps / CI-CD in data engineering
