Our client is a globally recognised financial technology provider that works with many of the world's leading banks, asset managers, financial market infrastructures and fintech organisations. Their solutions help financial institutions improve operational efficiency, data integrity, regulatory compliance and transaction lifecycle management.

As part of continued growth, they are seeking a Senior Sales Executive to drive new business acquisition across the UK and wider European financial services market.

The Role

This is a strategic hunter role focused on developing and closing new logo opportunities with financial institutions. You'll engage with senior stakeholders across operations, technology, data, risk and finance functions, helping organisations solve complex operational and regulatory challenges through enterprise technology solutions.

Working alongside Product, Pre-Sales, Professional Services, and Customer Success teams, you will be responsible for building a strong pipeline and delivering consistent revenue growth across your territory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a territory strategy across the UK and European financial services market.
  • Identify, qualify and close new logo opportunities across banks, asset managers, financial market infrastructures, fintechs and other regulated institutions.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of enterprise opportunities, targeting 4–5x annual quota coverage.
  • Create detailed account plans and multi-threaded stakeholder engagement strategies.
  • Manage opportunities throughout the sales cycle using MEDDPICC methodology.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline management within Salesforce.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, RFI/RFP responses, and solution presentations.
  • Build trusted relationships with senior executives including COOs, Heads of Operations, Heads of Data, Risk Leaders, Finance Executives, and Technology stakeholders.
  • Contribute to regional go-to-market initiatives and identify new growth opportunities.

About You

  • 8+ years' experience in enterprise software or technology sales.
  • Proven track record of winning new business and closing complex enterprise deals.
  • Strong understanding of financial services, capital markets, post-trade operations, data management, or regulatory environments.
  • Experience selling enterprise SaaS, financial technology, or mission-critical software solutions.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with structured sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC.
  • Demonstrated success building and managing large qualified sales pipelines.
