The role

We’re looking for an Account Executive who loves owning the full sales journey, from first conversation through to long-term customer success.

Working closely with the wider team, you’ll manage and grow your own pipeline of accounting and bookkeeping firms, build trusted relationships, and close meaningful deals that drive real value for customers. You’ll be hands-on, commercially sharp, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment where you’re trusted to own outcomes.

Jobs to be done

  • Drive revenue growth: Build, manage, and convert a healthy pipeline of new and existing opportunities.
  • Negotiate and close: Lead commercial conversations confidently and close deals that work for both XBert and the customer.
  • Running your number: Forecast accurately, report clearly, and take ownership of your performance against targets.
  • Be a product expert: Deeply understand the XBert platform, the problems we solve, and how we win against alternatives.
  • Own customer relationships: Develop strong, long-term partnerships with decision-makers and stakeholders across accounting and bookkeeping practices.
  • Customer advocacy: Bring insights and feedback from the field back into the business to help shape product and GTM decisions.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, and customer success to ensure a seamless end-to-end customer experience.

What you’ll bring

  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in sales, preferably in SaaS, technology, or accounting related industry.
  • Skills: Proven track record of exceeding sales targets, strong negotiation and communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with C-level executives and multi-stakeholder deals.
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable selling modern SaaS products and quick to build confidence with new tools and platforms.
  • Self-Starter: Highly motivated, with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a focus on continuous learning and improvement.

This role is fully remote with occasional travel to industry events, team meetings and client offices. Salary is negotiable/flexible depending on experience.
