Senior Developer

Client Details

Our client operates within the Financial Services sector and is looking to expand their technology team with the addition of a Senior Developer. This role offers primarily remote working, with weekly team meet-ups every Tuesday in London.

The technology division consists of approximately 80 professionals, and you will be joining an Agile development team of 8.

The Role
  • Design, develop, and maintain software applications to meet business and project requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality technical solutions within agreed timelines
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure coding standards and best practices are maintained
  • Analyse, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues efficiently
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends
  • Mentor junior developers and promote best practices across the team
  • Ensure all development work complies with industry standards and company guidelines
Candidate Profile

This is a predominantly hands-on development role, with additional responsibilities including mentoring junior developers, reviewing code, and working closely with Business Analysts and Product Managers to understand and deliver business requirements.
