This is a varied administrative role supporting key financial and product database processes, including credit control administration, supplier and member accounts, pricing updates, and the management of internal systems.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working within an administration environment and will be comfortable handling financial information, maintaining accurate records and working across multiple systems. Finance experience would be advantageous, but it is not essential.

If you're someone who enjoys keeping things organised, spotting discrepancies and making sure the detail is right, this could be an excellent opportunity to join a busy and collaborative team.

  • Processing product and pricing changes, including additions and deletions.
  • Supporting Member Online product databases.
  • Collating supplier summaries for E-bate loading.
  • Chasing outstanding supplier summaries and investigating discrepancies.
  • Liaising with the Financial Controller regarding credit limits and supporting regular reviews.
  • Maintaining accurate administrative records and ensuring information is processed in a timely manner.

Skills & Experience Required

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Experienced in an administration environment.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working with financial information and databases.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
  • Able to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • A clear and effective communicator.
  • Comfortable working independently as well as part of a wider team.
  • Proactive when identifying discrepancies or issues.
  • Finance experience is preferred but not essential.

Key Skills & Competencies

Essential:

  • Previous administration experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good organisational and time management skills.
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to work with databases and maintain accurate records.
  • Good communication skills.

Desirable:

  • Finance administration experience.
  • Experience with credit limits or account administration.
  • Knowledge of Sage 200 (intermediate level).
  • Experience within a wholesale, supply chain, or product database environment.
