Finance & Renewals Manager
Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 per annum
Location: South West London (4 days in the office/1 day working from home)
A brilliant hybrid role where Finance meets OperationsWe’re working with a small technology business in South West London who are looking to take on a Finance & Renewals Manager who thrives in a varied, hands-on role that blends finance, bookkeeping, billing, and commercial renewals.
This isn’t a pure accounting role. It’s ideal for someone who enjoys getting stuck into the detail, keeping financial processes running smoothly, and playing a key part in how services are renewed, billed, and delivered across the business.
You’ll be the link between finance, operations, engineering teams, suppliers, and clients—making sure everything is accurate, timely, and well-coordinated.
Duties:This is a split-role combining renewals (1–3 days per week) and finance & bookkeeping (2–3 days per week), giving you real variety across your working week.
Renewals & Commercial CoordinationYou’ll take ownership of the renewal lifecycle, ensuring nothing slips through the cracks:
- Spot upcoming service renewals and coordinate internally with engineering teams
- Work with suppliers to ensure services are renewed on time
- Prepare and present renewal proposals to clients, clearly explaining value and securing approval
- Ensure accurate client billing following renewals and service changes
- Produce weekly billing and scheduling reports for engineering teams
- Invoice jobs and orders accurately while tracking project costs and highlighting any overruns
- Maintain clear visibility of all upcoming renewals and commercial commitments
You’ll also take responsibility for day-to-day finance operations and accuracy:
- Raise and issue invoices for goods and services
- Complete regular bank reconciliations to keep financial records accurate and up to date
- Prepare and submit VAT returns
- Manage payroll and pension processing
- Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software
- Support smooth financial reporting and general finance administration
