Senior Account Director
Location: South West England (Hybrid / Field-based)
Network & Security / MSP (New Regional Division)
The OpportunityWe are working with a well-established network, security reseller and MSP that is launching a new South West division. This is a genuinely exciting opportunity for a stand-alone, entrepreneurial Senior Account Director to take ownership of a region and build something meaningful from the ground up.
This role suits someone who thrives with autonomy, enjoys opening doors, and wants real influence over how a regional business grows — not just carrying a number.
The RoleAs Senior Account Director, you will be responsible for developing new client relationships and growing strategic accounts across the South West. You will act as the commercial lead for the region, working closely with pre-sales, technical delivery, and vendor partners while helping shape the long-term go-to-market strategy.
Initially, this is a hands-on, individual contributor role, with the opportunity to build and lead a regional team as the division grows.
Key Responsibilities- Own and grow revenue across the South West region
- Identify, win, and develop new business across network, security, and managed services
- Build trusted, long-term relationships with senior stakeholders
- Lead the full sales cycle: prospecting, solution design, negotiation, and close
- Work collaboratively with pre-sales and delivery teams to design robust solutions
- Engage with key technology vendors and distributor partners
- Contribute to the regional growth strategy and future team build
- Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and CRM discipline
- Proven experience in a senior sales or account director role within:
- Network & security reseller
- MSP or IT services business
- Comfortable operating stand-alone with minimal supervision
- Strong new business capability, balanced with account growth
- Experience selling into the public sector is highly advantageous
- Commercial understanding of:
- Networking
- Cyber security
- Managed services
- Aruba
- HPE
- Fortinet
