As part of our continued growth, we are expanding within the healthcare and blue light sectors and are seeking an experienced Senior Account Manager to join our dynamic sales team.
About the Role
As a Senior Account Manager, you’ll take ownership of developing and managing key relationships within NHS Trusts, emergency services, and other healthcare organisations. You’ll identify opportunities to deliver value through technology solutions, working closely with vendors and internal teams to provide tailored, high-impact proposals.
This is a strategic role combining account growth, new business development, and long-term relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow existing accounts within the healthcare and blue light sectors.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within target organisations.
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with IT, procurement, and operational stakeholders.
- Develop solution-focused proposals leveraging a broad portfolio of networking, security, and cloud technologies.
- Work collaboratively with Aruba, Fortinet, HPE, and other key vendor partners to deliver value-driven solutions.
- Collaborate with internal pre-sales, project delivery, and technical teams.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and report on account activity using CRM tools.
- Stay current with industry trends, vendor offerings, and public sector frameworks.
About You
- Proven experience in IT sales, ideally within public sector, healthcare, or blue light verticals.
- Strong understanding of networking, cybersecurity, and infrastructure solutions.
- Experience working with vendors such as Aruba, Fortinet, and HPE.
- Demonstrable track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent relationship-building, presentation, and communication skills.
- Highly motivated, self-driven, and able to manage complex sales cycles.
- Comfortable engaging at all levels — from technical teams to C-suite stakeholders.
