We’re looking for an experienced Business Analyst to support delivery of key data and technology initiatives within a fast-paced enterprise environment.
You’ll work closely with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements, challenge existing processes, and deliver high-quality analysis that enables effective data-driven solutions. This role requires strong technical analysis capability, stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to operate independently within a contract setting.

We’re looking for an experienced Business Analyst to support delivery of key data and technology initiatives within a fast-paced enterprise environment.
You’ll work closely with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements, challenge existing processes, and deliver high-quality analysis that enables effective data-driven solutions. This role requires strong technical analysis capability, stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to operate independently within a contract setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage stakeholders to identify business needs and translate into clear requirements
- Elicit, analyse and document functional and non-functional requirements
- Challenge existing processes and identify improvement opportunities
- Ensure traceability from requirements through to design, testing and delivery
- Manage stakeholders and expectations across business and technology teams
- Validate solutions to ensure alignment with business goals and technical feasibility
- Support testing, implementation and change management activities
- Manage requirement changes, risks and issues throughout delivery
- Produce clear documentation including requirements, process maps and analysis artefacts
- Ensure compliance with governance, standards and regulatory requirements
- 5+ years’ Business Analysis experience within data or technology environments
- Strong technical systems analysis skills (APIs, integration's, data flows, databases)
- Advanced SQL for data extraction, transformation and analysis
- Experience working with complex data environments (transactional, operational or market data)
- Proven stakeholder management across business and technical teams
- Experience using JIRA, Azure DevOps or similar tools
- Strong documentation, communication and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working independently in a contract environment and managing multiple priorities
- Experience working within Agile and/or Waterfall delivery models
- Background as a Data Analyst or Developer
- Python or scripting for data analysis
- Experience reading code (C#, Java or similar)
- Exposure to big data or messaging technologies
- Relevant Agile or project delivery certifications
