I’m currently working with a global technology consultancy supporting a major UK enterprise organisation on a significant transformation programme, and we’re looking for a strong C# .NET Developer to join the engineering team on a contract basis.
This is an excellent opportunity to work in a modern cloud-first environment, helping to deliver scalable backend applications within a fast-paced enterprise programme.

We’re looking for a developer with roughly 4–7 years of commercial experience, ideally someone who is still hands-on technically and enjoys building robust backend systems in modern Microsoft environments.

Required experience
  • Strong commercial experience with C# / .NET backend development
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including:
    • Azure App Services
    • Azure Functions
    • Azure SQL
    • Azure Service Bus
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
  • Strong understanding of microservices architecture
  • Experience building and consuming REST APIs
  • Exposure to performance optimisation, scalability, and secure coding practices
  • Comfortable working in Agile / Scrum delivery teams
  • Experience collaborating with distributed technical teams and business stakeholders
Nice to have
  • Exposure to trading, commodities, utilities, or enterprise transformation environments
Contract details
  • Rate: Up to £530 per day
  • IR35: Inside IR35
  • Location: London
  • Working pattern: 3 days onsite per week
  • Contract: 6 months initial contract with strong extension potential
