AWS Cloud Architect

Location: Knutsford
Duration: 6 Month Contract
Setup: Hybrid (2 days a week on-site)

Were supporting one of our clients in hiring an experienced AWS Cloud Architect to help design and build secure, scalable cloud platforms. This is a hands-on position working across cloud engineering, Kubernetes, automation and security within a highly regulated environment.

What Were Looking For

• Strong AWS architecture experience
• Kubernetes/OpenShift + Helm expertise
• Hands-on Terraform and scripting skills
• Solid Linux troubleshooting background
• Experience with IAM/security tooling (CyberArk ideal)
• Understanding of compliance or regulated environments
• Comfortable working in Agile teams

What Youll Do

• Design and develop AWS cloud solutions
• Work with Kubernetes/OpenShift and Helm for deployments
• Automate environments using Terraform and scripting (Python/Bash/PowerShell)
• Implement data classification, retention and IAM/security controls
• Integrate cloud platforms with tools like ServiceNow and CyberArk
• Support multi-environment setups (Dev, UAT, Prod, DR)
• Collaborate with engineering, security and governance teams
