Xcede is partnering with one of Europe’s fastest-growing logistics delivery companies, now looking to strengthen its rapidly expanding data team.

This role will focus on tackling complex logistics challenges, including delivery platform dynamics, courier performance and retention, distance prediction, network optimisation, and telematics data.

What you’ll be doing:

• Lead and scale a cross-functional data science team across marketplace, operations, routing, finance, and telematics
• Define technical direction, uphold high standards, and contribute directly to high-impact challenges when needed
• Own and drive the data science roadmap, balancing priorities and aligning the team on key objectives
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Operations to translate ideas into scalable, production-ready solutions
• Attract, develop, and retain high-performing data science talent
• Enhance delivery speed, model performance, and system observability while resolving issues efficiently
• Establish effective ways of working and foster a strong, scalable team culture
