Xcede are supporting a tech-driven organisation embarking on a greenfield data platform build and are looking for a Lead Data Engineer to take ownership of architecture and delivery.

This is a rare opportunity to define a modern data ecosystem from scratch, working closely with senior leadership to shape technical direction.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and build of a greenfield data platform
• Architect scalable data pipelines and real-time processing systems
• Set engineering standards and best practices
• Mentor and guide a growing engineering team
• Work closely with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions

Key Requirements

• Strong experience in data engineering and platform architecture
• Excellent Python development skills
• Deep experience with Databricks
• Experience building scalable cloud data solutions
• Proven ability to lead technical delivery in greenfield environments
