Machine Learning Engineer:

Xcede is partnering with a fast-growing applied AI consultancy working on complex, real-world machine learning projects across a range of industries. This is an opportunity to join a high-performing engineering team delivering AI systems that are used in live commercial environments.

You’ll be responsible for building robust, scalable machine learning platforms that move models from experimentation into production. Working closely with data scientists, engineers and client stakeholders, you’ll help design system architectures, implement deployment pipelines, and ensure AI solutions are reliable, secure and maintainable in operational settings.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving practical engineering challenges, working across the full ML lifecycle, and contributing to the delivery of mission-critical AI systems used by large organisations.

Requirements:

• Strong experience building and maintaining machine learning systems in production
• Background working alongside data science teams to integrate trained models into live services
• Hands-on development experience using modern machine learning frameworks
• Excellent Python engineering skills
• Experience designing cloud-based platforms and deployment workflows e.g AWS
• Proven experience running containerised applications using Docker and Kubernetes
• Solid understanding of statistics, data modelling, and machine learning fundamentals
• Experience mentoring junior engineers and contributing to engineering best practice
