We are looking for a Software Engineer to join a collaborative Product Management team responsible for building, running, and maintaining bespoke software products and services hosted on cloud platforms.
The Software Engineer will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and operating software products throughout their life cycle. The team follows an Agile approach and applies a DevSecOps mindset, with a strong emphasis on quality, automation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
This is an opportunity for a Software Engineer who enjoys working across the full development life cycle and collaborating closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
- Write high-quality, readable, and maintainable code designed to support products over a long life cycle.
- Develop and maintain software using modern development practices and technologies.
- Create and maintain automated tests to ensure the quality, reliability, and stability of products.
- Build, maintain, and operate cloud-based services using an Infrastructure as Code (IaC) approach.
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement and reliability of software products and services.
- Collaborate with other team members through Agile ceremonies, 3 Amigos sessions, demonstrations, code reviews, pairing, and other development practices.
- Work closely with QA engineers, platform engineers, business analysts, users, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and agree effective solutions.
- Communicate technical concepts clearly and contribute constructively to technical discussions and decision-making.
- Experience writing high-quality, readable, and maintainable code using:
- TypeScript
- Angular
- Node.js
- Express.js
- The ability to communicate effectively with other engineers and team members and discuss programming concepts and technical solutions clearly.
- Experience working collaboratively within an Agile and/or team-based software development environment.
- Experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Experience using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code principles.
- Experience working within a DevSecOps environment.
- Experience building and operating cloud-native applications.
- Experience developing automated tests and integrating testing into the software delivery life cycle.
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery practices.
- Experience working across the full software development life cycle, from development through to deployment and ongoing operation.
