Initial 3 month contract
Derby (2 days per week in the office)
£550 per day (Inside IR35)
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders, working in a positive and collaborative manner, providing relevant and timely updates, ensuring all parties understand the Business’s interests, and that efficient solutions are in place to meet the needs of the business.
- Conduct and provide feedback/actions plans following regular reviews of product roadmaps (including futureproofing), driving technical standards and meeting the latest IT and data security standards.
- Responsible for delivering system transformation as part of BAU & Projects.
- Gather technical requirements into new Business proforma to support new IT requirements reviews.
- Overseeing the release of enhancements to existing applications and solutions, undertaking the configuring and testing where appropriate.
- Document business requirements for systems, including support, resilience, business continuity, disaster recovery, and ensure suppliers meet these service levels. Maintaining a portfolio of IT Systems data maps and architecture diagrams showing business systems integrations and dependencies.
- Delivering support to existing business users, investigating and resolving application issues and queries. Prioritising requests in accordance with agreed criteria and with reference to the Service Desk SLA’s.
- Deliver the agreed IT/Business solution designs, ensuring implementation meets or exceeds business commitments. Produce and support the execution of technical implementation plans, and manage the introduction of new business systems.
- Work with the IT Business Partners and Project Managers to identify and mitigate technical project risks and resolve issues.
- Translation of design outputs into BAU materials for project handover, including full service transition into IT support
- Collaborating with stakeholders & functional leads in identifying and proposing new applications, application system changes, better uses, enhancements & developments, and/or extending use of existing systems in line with the Business System Roadmap and IT Digital Plan.
- Support the delivery of IT Business System change and assist with the production of technical run books that will be executed by the IT Infrastructure and Service delivery teams.
