DevOps Engineer – AWS / Docker / Kubernetes | Cheshire (Hybrid) | £75,000 + Bonus + Benefits

Xpertise Recruitment are working with a leading IoT business in Chesire, who are scaling fast and looking for a DevOps Engineer to join them.

This is a key role in a growing team – working on scalable, secure, AWS-based infrastructure, building out containerised environments, and driving CI/CD and automation across multiple products used by thousands of customers worldwide.

You’ll be hands-on across AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Argo, with a real opportunity to shape best practice as the platform evolves. It’s a mix of ownership, engineering, and problem-solving, ideal for someone who wants to work in a fast-moving product environment with plenty of autonomy.

The Role

• Design, build and maintain AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3, Lambda, SQS, Glacier, Elastic IPs)
• Deploy and manage Docker/Kubernetes clusters for scalable applications
• Build queue-based pipelines using RabbitMQ and AWS SQS
• Implement IaC with Terraform and drive CI/CD improvements
• Deliver secure, cost-efficient, and performant cloud operations
• Monitor and optimise with Prometheus, Grafana, and Argo
• Troubleshoot production issues and keep uptime high
