Lead Java Developer - Electronic Trading | London | Up to £165k + Bonus

A leading financial institution is hiring a Lead Java Developer to join their Equities Cash Technology team in London. This is a high-impact role focused on building and enhancing low latency trading platforms that support benchmark algos, smart order routing, and internal crossing across EMEA and global markets.

What you'll bring:

• Deep Java expertise (collections, concurrency, NIO, GC tuning)
• Experience with multithreaded systems and low latency I/O
• Strong understanding of equities/derivatives markets and algo strategies (VWAP, TWAP, Arrival Price)
• Familiarity with FIX protocol, agile methodologies, and modern dev tools
• Ability to mentor junior developers and contribute across the SDLC
