Change Specialist

Change Analyst

Salary: 35,000 - £45,000
Location: West Midlands
Working Pattern: Hybrid

We're partnering with a large, well established organisation in the West Midlands that is continuing to invest in improving the way services are designed and delivered for customers and colleagues.

They are now looking to appoint a Change Analyst to play a key role in driving continuous improvement activity across the organisation. This is a hands on, collaborative role where you'll work across multiple service areas to identify opportunities, challenge current ways of working and support meaningful, sustainable change.

You'll act as a trusted partner to operational teams, helping them adopt improvement approaches and build a stronger culture of continuous learning and development.

The Role

In this role you will:

  • Work closely with service teams to understand how processes currently operate and where improvements can be made.
  • Facilitate workshops, service reviews and process mapping sessions to explore challenges and identify better ways of working.
  • Use structured techniques such as root cause analysis to diagnose issues and develop practical, customer focused solutions.
  • Provide an independent and objective perspective, constructively challenging assumptions and encouraging continuous improvement.
  • Support teams in applying improvement methods and embedding a "make it better" mindset in day to day work.
  • Analyse how services connect across the organisation to ensure improvements are joined up and effective.
  • Collaborate with wider change and transformation colleagues to align improvement work with broader programmes and priorities.
  • Produce clear insights, summaries and recommendations to support decision making and delivery.
  • Coach and support colleagues in understanding and applying improvement tools and techniques.
About You

We're looking for someone who is confident working across operational teams and enjoys helping organisations improve the way they work.

You will bring:

  • Proven experience delivering service improvement, business change or transformation activity.
  • Experience leading or supporting service reviews, process improvement work or operational change.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to identify root causes and improvement opportunities.
  • Confidence facilitating workshops and engaging groups of stakeholders to shape solutions.
  • Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility.
  • The ability to challenge constructively while maintaining positive working relationships.
  • A customer-focused mindset, with an understanding of how service design impacts outcomes.
  • The ability to balance big picture thinking with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to adapt your approach to different audiences.
  • A collaborative, curious and improvement-driven mindset.
Desirable Experience
  • Experience working within a regulated environment.
  • Familiarity with Systems Thinking, Lean or other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience working within a Change, Transformation or PMO environment.
  • Experience coaching or supporting colleagues through improvement activity.
