Responsibilities
  • Apply data science, machine learning and AI techniques to generate insight and create business value.
  • Develop and maintain analytical models and solutions using Python.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand business challenges and define analytical approaches.
  • Present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Build proof-of-concepts, prototypes and demonstrations to test ideas and create value quickly.
  • Utilise modern AI tools to enhance productivity and accelerate delivery.
  • Contribute to innovation through the adoption of new technologies, methodologies and best practices.
Requirements
  • Degree in a STEM subject or equivalent quantitative discipline.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking and statistical foundations.
  • Commercial experience delivering data science, machine learning or AI solutions.
  • Strong Python programming skills and experience with common data science libraries.
  • Understanding of modern AI concepts, including large language models and retrieval-based approaches.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to different audiences.
  • Experience working effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
Desirable Experience
  • Experience developing rapid prototypes or proof-of-concept solutions.
  • Exposure to tools such as GitHub Copilot, Databricks or MLflow.
  • Previous consulting, advisory or client-facing experience.
  • Industry expertise within a specific sector or domain.
