Responsibilities
  • Define and implement enterprise architecture frameworks, standards, and governance processes
  • Establish and lead Architecture Review Boards, ensuring technology decisions align with business objectives
  • Develop and maintain a clear view of current and future-state architecture across the organisation
  • Create strategic technology roadmaps that support business growth and transformation goals
  • Support mergers and acquisitions through technology due diligence, integration planning, and architectural oversight
  • Identify opportunities to simplify, standardise, and optimise the technology estate
  • Produce architecture artefacts, documentation, and governance processes that improve visibility and decision-making
  • Partner with senior business and technology stakeholders to guide investment decisions and prioritise strategic initiatives
Requirements
  • Proven experience operating as an Enterprise Architect within a growing, transforming, or acquisitive organisation
  • Strong track record of establishing architecture governance, standards, and best practices
  • Experience developing enterprise-wide technology strategies and roadmaps
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong understanding of technology governance, risk management, and architecture frameworks
  • Experience working in evolving environments where processes and structures are still being developed
Desirable Experience
  • Previous involvement in mergers, acquisitions, and integration programmes
  • Experience leading architecture functions or building architecture capability from scratch
  • Exposure to large-scale business transformation initiatives
  • Knowledge of recognised architecture frameworks and methodologies
