Fibre Network Planner (Onsite, 6-Month Contract, Outside IR35)

We are looking for an experienced Fibre Network Planner for a 6-month onsite contract (outside IR35) with an immediate start. You will work on large-scale core network projects, including site closures and diversionary works.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and design fibre networks using GIS tools (eg, GE Smallworld).
• Prepare technical documentation (LLDs, schematics, splicing schedules).
• Collaborate with cross-functional and offshore teams.
• Manage Legacy networks, customer migrations, and high-risk cable outages.
• Maintain clear communication and problem-solving under pressure.

What You Need:

• Proven experience in fibre network planning.
• Proficiency with GIS tools and understanding of fibre routing, cable types, and splicing.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Contract Details:

• Rate: £350/day (outside IR35)
• Duration: 6 months
• Start: Immediate
• Location: Onsite
