IBM i RPG/DB2 Developer
We are looking for experienced IBM i RPG/DB2 Developers to join a major programme of work within a complex, business-critical production environment.
You will work across the development and enhancement of core IBM i applications, supporting both project delivery and ongoing changes across the existing estate. This will include developing, maintaining and improving RPG applications, working extensively with DB2 databases and resolving issues within live production systems.
We are looking for developers who can quickly understand an established IBM i environment and work confidently across complex applications with minimal supervision.
Key experience required:
- Proven commercial IBM i/AS400/iSeries development experienceExpert RPG and DB2 development skills
- Strong understanding of AS400 terminology, architecture and environments
- Experience working across large or complex production estates
- Ability to analyse existing applications, troubleshoot issues and deliver reliable code changes
- Financial services, payments or regulated-industry experience
- Comfortable working within a fast-paced contract environment and delivering against agreed timescales
