This is an exciting opportunity to join the global IT community of a leading FMCG organisation within its Centre of Expertise team. As a SAP Trade Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the technology landscape for trade, sales, and finance capabilities across multiple markets.

You will be responsible for defining the application strategy and architecture for your assigned capability areas, ensuring that solutions are scalable, future-ready, and aligned with enterprise standards. Acting as a subject matter expert, you will provide technical leadership to development and implementation teams, maintain consistent design principles, and drive innovation across the organisation's technology ecosystem.

In this role, you will lead architectural design and governance for trade-related applications and infrastructure. Your work will directly influence how technology supports commercial objectives and operational excellence.

• Architectural Leadership: Define major aspects of application and infrastructure architecture, ensuring compliance with enterprise principles and long-term scalability.
• Strategic Planning: Shape the future application landscape by identifying optimisation opportunities, proposing strategic improvements, and aligning IT solutions with business priorities.
• Technical Oversight: Provide technical leadership to development and implementation teams, including design reviews, code reviews, and adherence to best practices.
• Lifecycle Management: Oversee enhancements, integrations, upgrades, and decommissioning of obsolete systems to maintain a robust and efficient technology environment.
• Governance & Compliance: Ensure all new solutions and enhancements meet business needs while adhering to architectural guidelines and security standards.
• Vendor Collaboration: Work closely with external partners and suppliers, contributing to vendor evaluation and ensuring quality delivery across projects.

You are a seasoned IT professional with a strong blend of technical expertise, commercial understanding, and the ability to influence architectural decisions in a complex, multi-application environment. You thrive in global settings and excel at translating business needs into scalable technology solutions.

We're looking for someone who has:

• Technical Expertise: Strong experience in IT project management and deep knowledge of planning and forecasting applications (SAP CRM-TPM/TM/TMA).
• Industry Experience: Proven capability working within multi-application environments, ideally within FMCG or similar industries.
• Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving ability and advanced proficiency in Excel for data analysis and forecasting.
• Communication & Leadership: Clear and confident communication skills, with experience influencing stakeholders in multinational settings.
• Commercial Awareness: A collaborative, flexible, and results-oriented approach with a strong understanding of business processes and commercial objectives.
