Head of Design (Product & Brand)

We're hiring a Head of Design (Product & Brand | Hands-on)

Our client is a fast-growing, mission-driven business building wearable technology for people living with complex chronic illnesses — not fitness optimisation. They've scaled from zero to $8m ARR in 24 months, with 250,000+ users and a 4.8-star rated app. They're now looking for a Head of Design to lead their next chapter.

This is a genuinely hands-on leadership role. You won't just be setting direction — you'll be in Figma, shaping pixels, sweating the craft, and raising the bar across both product and brand. You'll own the end-to-end design experience: from core app features and data visualisations to packaging, marketing assets, and their broader visual identity.

You'll be stepping into a strong design foundation and leading a small, talented team — with the remit to grow it. They're looking for someone who loves mentoring and building culture, but hasn't lost the hunger to make things themselves.

**What they're looking for:**

→ A craft-led designer with exceptional product and visual design skills

→ Comfortable owning both product design and brand — and energised by the breadth

→ A natural leader who can grow and inspire a team without losing their hands-on edge

→ Experience in consumer mobile apps, ideally in a fast-moving, mission-driven environment

→ Strong storytelling skills — you bring teams along with you through prototypes and insights

→ Healthtech or wearables experience is a bonus, but not essential

**The role:**

→ Hybrid, 3+ days in their Spitalfields office (Second Home, London)

→ Salary: Up to £130k (DOE) + generous equity

→ £1,000 annual learning budget, 25 days holiday, regular team off-sites

If you're a hands-on design leader who wants to use your craft to genuinely improve lives, we'd love to hear from you.
