Infrastructure Support Engineer? Blaenavon, South Wales? Competitive salary

What You'll Do:

You'll play a vital role in ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations across the business. Working closely with the wider infrastructure team, you'll be the go-to person for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing network applications, and supporting end users.

Your responsibilities will include monitoring systems, performing routine backups, ensuring security protocols are upheld, and maintaining documentation for disaster recovery. You'll also assist in mentoring junior team members and help deliver ad-hoc IT projects when needed.

What You'll Bring:

• Strong technical knowledge with the ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues

• A collaborative approach with excellent communication skills

• Confidence to challenge and improve existing processes

• Solid organisational skills and a proactive mindset

• Experience working under pressure and managing multiple tasks

• GCSEs in English and Maths or equivalent

• Ideally, a BTEC National Diploma in Computer Studies or NVQ Level 2 in IT Practitioners
