Yolk Recruitment are working on behalf of an SSIP Health & Safety Certification provider. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven and proactive Business Development Executive to join a growing business.
This role is focused on outbound, proactive B2B sales-generating new business opportunities, engaging prospects, and booking high-quality demos. It is an ideal position for a target-driven individual who thrives in a remote, phone-based environment and is motivated by achieving measurable results. This is a fully remote role, with occasional attendance at networking events throughout the year.
Responsibilities
Outbound Sales & Lead Generation
- Proactively identifying and engaging prospective B2B clients via telephone, email, and digital channels.
- Building and managing a consistent pipeline of qualified leads.
- Researching target businesses and key decision-makers to tailor outreach effectively.
Pipeline and Lifecycle Management
- Supporting the handling of adhoc inbound telephone and email sales enquiries.
- Following up historical, incomplete, and expired clients .
Partnerships
- Identifying and prioritising strategic and affinity partners.
- Researching through internet, email, and telephone the target contacts at prospective partners.
- Initiating high-volume outbound calls to introduce the company's services.
- Engaging partners with the PQS proposition.
- Qualifying prospects and identifying their needs and pain points.
- Booking high-quality appointments and product demonstrations for the wider team.
Market & Relationship Development
- Staying informed on industry trends and competitor activity.
- Representing the company at occasional networking events and industry meetups.
- Building strong relationships with prospective clients to support long-term business growth.
Data & Reporting
- Working towards and exceeding individual KPIs and targets.
- Maintaining accurate records of all interactions within the CRM system.
- Tracking client portal usage (renewals, changes in company contacts, email delivery)
- Implement internal reporting mechanisms.
- Attend and participate in team meetings.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a B2B sales, business development, or lead generation role.
- Confident and professional telephone manner with strong objection-handling skills.
- Highly self-motivated and comfortable working in a fully remote environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a high-volume sales pipeline.
- Target-driven mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding KPIs.
- Willingness to attend occasional networking events throughout the year.
