Technical Product Manager
We’re working with a UK-based technology business that designs and delivers connected products across automotive, consumer electronics and audio.
Automotive (including dashcams and vehicle technology) is a core part of the business, but the product range is broader, covering hardware-led, connected devices with software and subscription elements.
This is a hands-on Technical Product Manager role, sitting across product, delivery and technical coordination. It’s not just roadmap ownership — you’ll be involved in getting products built and delivered.
The role
– Own delivery of products from concept through to launch and beyond
– Work across hardware, firmware and software teams
– Coordinate internal teams, suppliers and external partners
– Manage timelines, budgets, risks and priorities
– Support technical decision-making and keep projects moving forward
– Translate commercial goals into clear delivery plans
What we’re looking for
– Background in electronics or hardware-led products (essential)
– Experience in Technical Product Management or Technical Project Management
– Comfortable working across hardware, firmware and software environments
– Strong delivery focus with the ability to bring structure and clarity
– Confident working with technical teams and stakeholders
– Experience in automotive, telematics, audio or consumer electronics is highly relevant
– Exposure to RF, CAD or embedded systems is beneficial
Location
– Nottingham (hybrid – approximately 2 days per week in the office)
The opportunity
This role suits someone who enjoys being close to the product, understands how physical devices are built, and can bridge the gap between engineering and commercial teams.
You don’t need to be an engineer, but you do need a strong technical understanding and the confidence to challenge and contribute.
