Fullstack Developer – Python/Django

£60,000 | Fully Remote (UK-Based) | Flexible Hours

We’re working with a product-led scale-up in the proptech space that’s on the lookout for a Fullstack Developer to join their tight-knit engineering team.

This is a genuinely rare opportunity to shape the frontend direction of a greenfield build while working alongside talented backend engineers in a flat, collaborative culture. You’ll be building a product that directly responds to new regulatory changes - so what you build will matter, and it’ll ship.

Tech Snapshot

• Backend: Python, Django
• Frontend: Django templates, JavaScript (bonus if you’re interested in evolving this setup)
• Infra: Heroku (Salesforce integration), some AWS/EC2
• Workflow: GitHub, Slack, Confluence, remote-first culture

What You’ll Be Doing

• Building out a greenfield expansion of the product alongside a highly capable backend team
• Taking ownership of the frontend approach - there’s no dedicated frontend specialist, so this is your chance to lead
• Implementing wireframes and collaborating with the product team to shape UX
• Contributing across the full lifecycle: scoping, building, shipping, and iterating
• Working in a low-ego, high-trust environment where ideas matter more than titles

What They’re Looking For

• Strong experience with Python and Django (backend-first mindset is ideal)
• Comfortable working with Django templates and JavaScript
• Confident contributing to frontend decisions and building UIs without heavy oversight
• Solid communication skills - team is remote and collaborative
• Someone who thrives in flat structures and takes real ownership of their work

Nice to Haves

• Familiarity with Heroku or AWS
• Interest in DevOps (Docker, CI/CD, etc.)
• Design awareness (you’ll be working from wireframes, but there’s no in-house designer)
