Account Executive (Mid-Market) – SaaS
Location: London (Hybrid, 3 days in office)
Salary: £70,000 – £90,000 base + Double OTE

Following continued growth across the UK and Europe, the company is expanding its commercial team and looking to hire a Mid-Market Account Executive based in London.
Role Overview
Our client is seeking a Mid-Market Account Executive responsible for driving new business across mid-sized organisations.
The successful candidate will manage the full sales cycle, engaging senior stakeholders and running consultative sales processes to understand business challenges and position software solutions effectively.
While the role is open to candidates from a broad SaaS background, experience selling into finance teams or the Office of Finance would be highly advantageous.
Typical deal sizes range from £40K to £90K ARR, so candidates with experience closing deals of a similar size will be well aligned.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the full sales cycle from initial prospect engagement through to contract signature
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across mid-market organisations
- Engage senior stakeholders and decision-makers across target accounts
- Run discovery conversations to understand business challenges and identify areas for improvement
- Deliver tailored product demonstrations and value-based proposals
- Manage multiple opportunities while maintaining accurate pipeline forecasting
- Collaborate with sales engineering, marketing, and customer success teams
- Maintain strong knowledge of the SaaS landscape and competitive positioning
Required Experience
- Proven experience as an Account Executive selling SaaS solutions
- Track record of managing full sales cycles and closing new business
- Experience closing deals in the region of £40K–£90K ARR (or similar)
- Strong consultative selling and discovery skills
- Experience managing multi-stakeholder sales processes
- Consistent achievement against sales targets
