Location: London (Hybrid)
Salary: £70,000 – £90,000 base + Double OTE

Following continued growth across the UK and Europe, the company is expanding its commercial sales team and looking to hire a Mid-Market Account Executive based in London.
Role Overview
Our client is seeking a Mid-Market Account Executive responsible for driving new business across mid-sized organisations.
The successful candidate will manage the full sales cycle, engaging senior finance stakeholders such as Finance Directors, Heads of Finance, and Accounts Payable leaders.
The role involves running consultative sales processes, understanding customer challenges within finance operations, and positioning software solutions that deliver measurable operational improvements.
This role is suited to a sales professional who has experience selling SaaS solutions into finance teams and who is comfortable managing complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the full sales cycle from initial prospect engagement through to contract signature
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across mid-market organisations
- Build relationships with finance stakeholders including Finance Directors, Heads of Finance, and Accounts Payable leaders
- Run discovery conversations to understand finance processes and identify opportunities for improvement through automation
- Deliver tailored product demonstrations and value-based proposals
- Manage multiple opportunities simultaneously while maintaining accurate pipeline forecasting
- Work closely with sales engineering, marketing, and customer success teams throughout the sales process
- Maintain strong knowledge of the finance technology landscape and competitive positioning
- Represent the organisation at industry events and customer meetings
Required Experience
- Proven experience as an Account Executive selling SaaS solutions
- Experience selling into finance teams or the Office of Finance
- Demonstrated success managing full sales cycles and closing new business
- Experience managing multi-stakeholder sales processes
- Strong consultative selling and discovery skills
- Experience achieving or exceeding sales targets

Package
- Base salary: £70,000 – £90,000
- Double OTE (uncapped commission)
