Salary £100k–£120k base + Double OTE | Uncapped Commission

A high-growth fintech at the forefront of Open Banking is seeking an experienced Enterprise Account Executive to drive new business across the UK and Europe. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a scale-up enabling some of the world’s largest payment companies to launch account-to-account (A2A) payment solutions.

Working with acquirers, payment service providers (PSPs), and financial institutions, the Enterprise Account Executive will own the full sales cycle - from lead generation to closing - targeting strategic enterprise clients across the payments ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities - Enterprise Account Executive - A2A Payments

  • Sales Strategy & Execution : Develop and implement a targeted sales strategy for enterprise accounts in the UK and European markets.
  • New Business Development : Generate and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities within PSPs, acquirers, and payment platforms.
  • Enterprise Client Management : Build and sustain strong relationships with key decision-makers, understanding their goals and aligning solutions to their needs.
  • Product Expertise : Deliver consultative sales engagements across a portfolio of offerings including AIS, PIS, Settlement Accounts, and Variable Recurring Payments.
  • Regulatory Compliance : Ensure all activities are aligned with internal policies and relevant regulations (e.g., FCA, BaFin).
  • Negotiation & Closing : Lead commercial negotiations and close complex, high-value deals that support strategic growth.
  • Sales Reporting : Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasting data via HubSpot, and use analytics to inform sales strategy.
  • Internal Collaboration : Partner with product, marketing, legal, and operations teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.
  • Market Awareness : Monitor trends in fintech, Open Banking, and payments to identify and capitalise on emerging opportunities.

Requirements - Enterprise Account Executive - A2A Payments

  • Proven Enterprise Sales Experience : Strong background in closing complex B2B sales within financial services, PSPs, or the payments sector.
  • Payments & Open Banking Knowledge : Deep understanding of the payments ecosystem, particularly A2A and Open Banking-enabled solutions.
  • Consultative Sales Skills : Ability to tailor solutions to client challenges and articulate business value across stakeholder levels.
  • Strong Negotiator : Experienced in managing high-value contract negotiations and navigating complex deal structures.
  • Self-Starter : Comfortable working autonomously in a scale-up environment with fast-changing priorities.
  • Pan-European Perspective : Experience selling into European markets and working across cultures.
  • Language Skills : Additional European languages are a bonus but not essential.
