Sales Development Representative (SDR) – SaaS

Base Salary: £30,000 to £35,000 | OTE: up to £55,000+

Location: Fully Remote, UK

Our client, a rapidly growing and innovative SaaS provider, is looking for a driven Sales Development Representative to join their team. SDR – The Role

As an SDR, you will be the first point of contact for potential customers, identifying and qualifying leads to support the sales pipeline. Your primary responsibility is to generate interest, book meetings, and lay the groundwork for successful sales conversations.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively engage with decision-makers and key stakeholders within mid-market organisations through outbound prospecting

• Use a combination of cold calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach, and other sales engagement tools to generate interest

• Qualify inbound and outbound leads, ensuring a smooth handover to the Account Executive team

• Research prospective clients to understand challenges, priorities, and how the company’s SaaS solutions can add value

• Maintain accurate and organised records of prospect interactions and pipeline activity within the CRM

• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to refine messaging and outreach strategy

• Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and developments within the SaaS landscape

SDR – Ideal Candidate Profile

We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is eager to learn and thrive in a fast-paced SaaS sales environment.

What You Bring

• At least 6 months of experience in SaaS sales, lead generation, or business development

• Experience booking meetings for Account Executives

• Exposure to selling into mid-market organisations is highly desirable

• Strong communication skills and confidence speaking with senior stakeholders

• A resilient, target-driven, and self-motivated approach

• Coachable, proactive, and keen to progress into an Account Executive role

• Ability to handle objections and articulate value propositions clearly

• Good organisational skills, time management, and CRM proficiency
