Our client is a fast-growing SaaS vendor transforming the way accounting firms operate through modern practice management, workflow and automation technology. Their platform helps accounting practices streamline operations, improve efficiency and modernise client delivery through a unified cloud-based solution built specifically for the accounting market.
Following continued growth, they are looking to hire a Senior Solutions Consultant to support enterprise sales engagements and work closely with senior stakeholders across large accounting firms throughout the UK.

The Role
The Senior Solutions Consultant will act as the functional and technical expert throughout the sales process, partnering closely with Sales and Leadership teams to deliver tailored product demonstrations and consultative customer engagements.
The role will involve engaging directly with Partners, Managing Directors and senior operational stakeholders within large accounting firms, understanding business challenges and demonstrating how the platform can improve workflows, compliance processes and operational efficiency.
This position would suit someone with a strong accounting background who has moved into software and has experience working for a vendor serving accounting firms.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver tailored product demonstrations to senior stakeholders within large accounting firms
- Run discovery sessions to understand operational, workflow and compliance challenges
- Translate client requirements into solution-led product demonstrations
- Support enterprise sales opportunities from initial engagement through to solution design
- Act as a trusted advisor throughout the customer evaluation process
- Work closely with Sales teams to support strategic opportunities and commercial conversations
- Provide functional expertise around accounting practice operations and workflows
- Support RFP/RFI responses and technical solution discussions where required
- Collaborate with Product and Customer teams to relay customer feedback and market insight
- Represent the business professionally during client meetings, workshops and industry events
Required Experience
- Background within Accounting or Accountancy Practice
- Professionally qualified or part-qualified accountant such as AAT, ACCA or CIMA
- Strong understanding of how accounting firms operate from both a workflow and operational perspective
- Experience working for a software vendor serving accounting firms
- Experience delivering software demonstrations or customer-facing consultative engagements
- Ability to engage and communicate confidently with senior stakeholders and decision-makers
- Strong presentation, communication and stakeholder management skills
- Commercial awareness with the ability to position business value effectively
Desirable Experience
- Experience within Solutions Consulting, Pre-Sales, Professional Services or Functional Consulting
- Experience working with accounting practice management, workflow, compliance or automation platforms
- Exposure to enterprise or mid-market sales cycles
- Understanding of workflow automation and modern accounting practice technology
