Security Architect
This role is pivotal in ensuring the security architecture for the client's business divisions is effective and value-driven. The Security Architect will focus on the Strategic Security Programme, implementing a wide range of cybersecurity controls, and will be responsible for comprehensive architecture solutions for cyber security projects from initiation to delivery.
Key responsibilities:
• Design and produce architectural artefacts for comprehensive cyber security solutions, from high-level outlines to detailed solution architecture, ensuring alignment with standards and business vision.
• Support and guide project teams in delivering cyber security solutions, managing technical dependencies, and resolving do-ability issues.
• Play a crucial role in implementing Information Security, Digital, and Data Strategies, ensuring solutions align with overarching strategic goals.
• Collaborate with enterprise architecture functions and product groups to define strategies, build roadmaps, and manage post-go-live issues.
• Quality assure/artefacts created by suppliers and internal teams to ensure solutions meet business requirements and strategic vision.
• Identify technological innovation opportunities and drive proposals for impactful quick wins.
• Engage stakeholders to identify capabilities, perform assessments, and document architecture for future landscape.
• Research cybersecurity technology trends, identifying opportunities for innovation and exploration.
Role requirements:
• Extensive experience as a Security Architect across multiple programmes and projects, with expertise in end-to-end lifecycle delivery in multi-technology environments.
• Strong design and management skills for multi-platform cybersecurity solutions, and experience in significant projects like Threat Detection and Infrastructure Security.
• Proficient in working with AWS technologies, and best practice security architecture across key domains.
• Strong commercial awareness, able to cost solutions effectively and promote cost efficiency.
• Collaborative, proactive approach with excellent communication and problem-solving skills, even in uncertainty.
• Solid knowledge foundation and certifications like CISSP, CISM, and familiarity with architecture methodologies including TOGAF and tools like UML.
