Principal Product Manager
Senior Principal Product Manager – AI Platform (Developer Experience)
A globally recognised eCommerce company - trusted by over 100 million customers every month - is looking for a Principal Product Manager, or Senior Principal to build and scale the internal AI platform that powers how their engineering teams ship AI-driven products.
This is a high-impact, platform-focused role for a technically fluent, senior Product person who thinks in systems, champions developer experience, and wants to shape the backbone of an AI ecosystem used at serious scale.
What you'll be working on:
• 0-1 build of the strategy and roadmap for a GenAI platform spanning infrastructure, tooling, and observability
• Designing platform capabilities that make experimentation and deployment of features frictionless - measured through DORA and Core4 metrics
• Partnering with security, compliance, and data governance teams to embed responsible AI practices across the stack
• Building and scaling knowledge graphs, retrieval systems, and evaluation frameworks for internal and consumer-facing AI use cases
• Collaborating with ML engineers, data scientists, and PMs to translate platform capabilities into real impact
What they're looking for:
• A deeply technical Lead IC Product Manager who's shipped tools that meaningfully improved engineering velocity or workflow quality
• Strong understanding of ModelOps - evaluation frameworks, model registries, reproducibility, and what it takes to operationalise AI at scale
• Familiarity with developer productivity metrics (DORA, Core4) and a genuine obsession with quantifying impact for Engineers
• Someone who thrives in ambiguity, drives clarity through collaboration, and influences through expertise rather than hierarchy
• A curious experimenter who stays ahead of the curve on AI tooling, frameworks, and practices
This is a rare opportunity to own a foundational platform role at a very senior level where developer experience and AI isn't a side project - it's central to the product strategy.
