Data Center Project Manager

Hertfordshire, UK | up to £80,000 basic + Benefits | Embedded Client | Enterprise level CCTV & Access Control

We're working with a leading global security technology business to find a Data Center Project Manager to join their growing team. In this role, you'll deliver complex data center security systems projects-from new builds and retrofits to expansions-helping protect some of the world's most important environments.

What You'll Be Doing

• Collaborating with data center operations teams and external vendors to scope and design security systems.

• Developing security designs and producing marked-up drawings for implementation.

• Controlling project costs, reviewing quotations, and approving expenditures.

• Attending project meetings and conducting site visits throughout the project lifecycle.

• Monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, and resolving issues to maintain schedules.

• Conducting project sign-offs to ensure installations meet Northland's standards.

• Maintaining clear communication with stakeholders on milestones and developments.

• Overseeing the smooth transition of projects into live operation.

• Maintaining comprehensive documentation and records of project activities.

What We're Looking For

• At least 5 years' experience managing projects in data center or similar physical security environments.

• Strong background in the design and implementation of access control and CCTV systems.

• Proven expertise in project management processes, including cost control, scheduling, and stakeholder communication.

• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

• Great communication skills-you're comfortable engaging with clients, vendors, and internal teams.

• Self-motivated, organised, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

The Important Stuff:

• Location: Hertfordshire based office with some hybrid flex 

• Regional travel: Up to 40%

• Salary: up to £80,000 + great benefits package

• Must be eligible to work in the UK
