Head of Financial Planning
We are working with an industry leading global SaaS business on an exponential growth trajectory to recruit their Head of FP&A. Current revenues of circa £40m represent 30% YoY growth with a transformative bottom line and runway to continue to accelerate. We are looking for a commercial leader who can build & shape finance into a world-class business partnering function. The role reports to the Group CFO.
The role is fully onsite with HQ in Central London.
About the Role:
- Partner with the CFO to develop the company's financial strategy.
- Own the production of financial planning and analysis to ensure the business has the data and insight it requires to deliver on its growth plans.
- Collaborate with business leaders to analyse financial performance and advise on areas for cost optimisation and growth opportunities.
- Support on investment and strategic decision making, as well as delivering the company's budget and forecasts.
- Engage with the business and the wider finance team to create best-in-class analysis/reporting and MI, delivering meaningful insights to decision makers. To include product/project reporting, customer profitability and pricing analysis.
- Conduct industry research and market analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities and potential deals
- Forecasting, tracking & reporting of synergies associated with M&A and other value add activities across the group, in line with business cases.
- Collaborate with data team to ensure integrity and consistency of Salesforce revenue and ARR reporting.
- Cash flow planning - understanding the company’s sales cycle, cash outflows, key levers and maintain 13 week cashflow.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization and provide insights and recommendations to drive business growth.
- Take a lead role in transforming the financial focus of the business, with an ROI approach to investment decisions.
- Build an understanding of the financial levers of the tech and product roadmaps, and related cost and resource allocations.
- Support on ad hoc projects including fundraising and M&A
About You:
- ACA Qualified
- Experience in transaction services, FDD, corporate finance, M&A, or a related field, ideally from a Big 4 firm.
- Industry experience within a SaaS organisation
- Expertise in a range of transaction activities, financial modelling, analysis, and valuation.
- Strong analytical skills including the ability to interpret data, generate insights and construct solutions
- The ability to operate in high performing, multi-disciplinary teams
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Strong attention to detail and a strategic mindset.
- Strong project management, planning and organisational skills
- Strong analytical skills and ability to deal with complex information
